I met Ubuntu Theater Project Artistic Director Michal Socrates Moran in Oakland (at Farley's East) to talk about the Ghost Light protests happening around the country. We almost immediately strayed from Ghost Light and ended up talking about President Trump's election, the strange alchemy between churches and theaters, and what actually is the politics of political theater.
